KTM DM31 Racing Team unveils 2026 AusEnduro line-up, as 2025 outright champion Milner retires
Reigning outright AusEnduro champion Daniel Milner has announced his retirement from competitive racing following a decorated career.
The 34-year-old will shift his focus to the development of emerging young talent as the KTM DM31 Racing Team Manager, providing a depth of knowledge that will continue to provide invaluable guidance and support to the team.
Milner first joined KTM for a five-year duration between 2017-2021, winning the Australian Enduro Championship (AusEnduro) through the E2 and E3 classes on multiple occasions. That initial success also included victory in the 2018 Australian Four-Day Enduro (A4DE), three Hattah Desert Race wins and outright in the International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) in 2018.
Following a stint overseas, Milner returned to Australia in 2024 to form his own DM31 Racing Team outfit and resumed his dominant form, claiming back-to-back E2 crowns and an inaugural ProEnduro championship in 2025. He wraps up his career with a record total of six outright championships in AusEnduro, as well as a total of five A4DE victories and more than 20 Australian championships.
“The decision to retire from racing has been playing on my mind for a while because I’ve been racing professionally for 15 seasons now, and it got to that point where I don’t quite get the enjoyment out of racing as much as I used to – and honestly, I get more satisfaction out of running the team and helping out the younger riders,” he said. “I’m thankful for my career, I enjoyed a lot of success and got to live the dream on the off-road side.
“I have accomplished more than I ever thought was possible.”
With his retirement now formalised, the title-winning DM31 Racing Team has unveiled its line-up for the 2026 AusEnduro Championship with Korey McMahon, Jye Dickson, and Jackson Versteegen featuring in the three-rider roster.
Leading the charge on-track for KTM Australia’s official off-road program will be 2025 revelation Korey McMahon who is set to defend his E3 class title and after finishing third in the ProEnduro standings, he’s aiming to pick up where Milner left off in challenging for the AusEnduro outright crown.

In the E2 division, Dickson will join the team after claiming second position in E3 this year, as well as recording fifth in the ProEnduro standings.
The former motocross rider continues to develop his skillset in the enduro discipline, with his transition to KTM providing an exciting new chapter for both he and the DM31 Racing Team.

The E1 class will see talented young prospect Versteegen pilot the KTM 250 XC-F as he enters the professional ranks, and will be under the watchful eye of Milner to form solid foundations throughout the early stages of his career.

Jackson Versteegen
“We had great success this year, and now we’ve added Jackson as a young up-and-comer, which I’m really looking forward to,” Milner explained. “He’s a good young kid who’s eager to learn, and I’m really looking forward to working with him.
“Jye was awesome to watch this year, and I think that we can bring more out of him, especially on the hard-pack soil because he’s an unbelievable sand rider.
“Then continuing with Korey is super exciting, because he does everything he can to make sure that he’s prepared to go and win, and he’s got that hunger that I remember having when I was a young rider.
“With all three of them, it’s going to be a really good environment at the races.
“It’ll be fun working with them, from pre-season and throughout the year, helping develop them as riders.”
The opening two rounds of the Yamaha Australian Enduro Championship presented by MXStore will be held in Roma, Qld on March 7-8 2026.
